Efficient, Error-Tolerant Search
Dynamic Navigation features appear on the search results page allowing various search results refinements using facets or filters (ranking by price, relevance, filtering by brand, category, or other attributes).
|
|
- Dynamic Navigation / Faceted Search: Visitors can filter results by categories, brands, and other attributes relevant to the product catalog. Results can also be ranked by prices or relevance. They could be displayed one underneath the other, with the sort mode within the filter.
- Dynamic Navigation Positioning: Filters, facets and other dynamic navigation features can be positioned above the search results, or to the left. The visitor can change the positioning themselves with a click.
- Real Time Display: Changing any filter such as the price range slider updates the results list in real time and immediately displays the new number of hits as well as the hits themselves without even reloading the page.
- List or Grid: The results can be shown as a list with product descriptions or in the form of a grid with larger product images and names but no descriptions. You set the default view and the visitor can still change the display mode by themselves, by clicking on a convenient button.
|
|
|
- Search Results per Page: You can set the number of results per page and your visitors can easily change it as they refine their search results.
- Results Shown in Order: Your visitors can list the results in order of relevance, ascending or descending price order.
- Product Thumbnails: You can show product images alongside the search results.
- Add-To-Cart-Buttons: For each search result, the store's own add-to-cart button can be displayed to speed the time and steps to purchase.
- Meta Data: The meta data of each product data-set (e.g. the description) is also checked.
- Other Product Attributes: Other product attributes contained in your catalog data.

Configurable Ranking
Products, categories, brands or even particular words in a product description can be promoted or penalized in the ranking of search results. Such features allow you to boost your profits by taking advantage of your supplier's special offers, your top-selling products, preferred manufacturers, popular categories and other merchandising factors.
|
|
- Feed-wide Aliasing / Global Aliasing: With a simple web interface, you can choose how to apply aliases to other words with similar meanings recorded in the database. With just a click, this can also apply the other way round. For instance, you can use the search term.
- Single-Product-Aliasing / Local Aliasing: You can configure aliases meant to apply only to certain products directly into the database by making a simple entry - in just the same way as you can set a global alias.
Simple Web Interface for Fast Configurations
Without programming skills, you can adjust most of the settings of your search and merchandising services via a password-protected web interface. Just log in, make changes, publish them and you’re done.
